Bespoke in 4 steps

It all begins with a conversation to understand your desires, your style, and the occasion.

Shapes, materials, and colours are selected together to imagine a piece perfectly suited to you. See below for more details on the choice of materials.

Each creation is handcrafted in our workshop, using traditional hat-making techniques and moulds sourced from high fashion houses.

A final fitting ensures comfort, balance, and elegance.

Materials chosen with care

The quality of a hat primarily comes from the choice of its materials. Esther selects noble fibres known for their structure, fineness, and durability, to ensure creations that are both elegant and comfortable.

Here are some examples of materials used that you can choose at the Atelier for your custom creations:

Silk abaca

A lightweight and durable natural fibre, abaca offers an airy structure ideal for ceremonial creations. Its transparency and fineness allow for sculptural shapes while remaining light.

Sewn straw

Our experienced team provides you with precise and comprehensive estimates to help you make informed decisions.

Wool or rabbit felt

An emblematic material of hat-making, felt is shaped with steam and then hand-formed on a wooden block. It offers structure, comfort, and timeless elegance, a signature of workshop creations.
